All Saints' Day
A Christian day of remembrance of the saints of the faith- both recognised and unknown. It has been observed since 609 AD.
The Western church celebrates All Saints' Day on 1st November, whilst the Eastern Orthodox churches celebrate it in the springtime; on the Sunday after Pentecost.
