Attributes of God

God (as viewed by followers of Judaism, Christianity and Islam) is traditionally thought to be:

• omnipotent (all powerful)
• omniscient (all knowing)
• omnipresent (present everywhere)
• omnibeneficient (all loving)

The theodicy paradox addresses the apparent impossibility of God holding these four attributes simultaneously.

Other attributes include holy, good, wise, and just.
