Bahá'í Faith

A world religion, founded in 1844 by Baha'u'llah (Glory of God) in Iran. Its roots are based in Islam.

With the exception of its beliefs about homosexuality, and the makeup of its Universal House of Justice, it promotes democracy with equal rights to all, regardless of gender, race or nationality. It has spread across the world, although its followers experience heavy oppression in Iran.
