Chanukah

Also known as Hanukka.

The Jewish festival of lights, which recalls a miracle at the time of the rededication of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem around 164 BC.

In this festival, a small quantity of oil is burned for many days. However, along with the heavy commercialisation of Christmas, this minor Jewish holiday has taken on greater importance.
