Collective Responsibility

The concept that an entire group of people (e.g. all of a certain sex, religion, skin colour, nationality, or sexual orientation, etc) are equally responsible for the act of one person in the group. This is a logical outgrowth of the biblical principle of transferability of sin.

Until recent decades, most Christian faith groups extended the concept of collective responsibility to extend over millennia by holding modern-day Jews responsible for the execution of Yeshua of Nazareth (Jesus Christ) almost 2,000 years ago.
