Congregation
1. The members of a specific place of worship.
2. A religious organisation.
3. An administrative body within the Curia of the Roman Catholic Church, as in the Congregation of for the Doctrine of the Faith; formerly called the Sacred Congregation of the Universal Inquisition.
4. A group of professed members of a Roman Catholic religious congregation. Congregations are similar to religious orders, except that the members only take simple vows.
