The Joyful Mysteries

The Sorrowful Mysteries
Events related to the crucifixion.
- The Agony in the Garden: The Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus sweats blood.
- The Scourging at the Pillar: Jesus was beaten.
- The Crown of Thorns: A crown of thorns was placed on his head to mock the claim that he was king.
- Carrying the Cross: Jesus carried the cross on the way to his crucifixion.
- The Crucifixion: The death of Jesus.

- The Resurrection: Jesus rose from the dead.
- The Ascension: Jesus went to heaven.
