Supererogation

The excess supply of good works accumulated by some special souls that can be applied to those in purgatory who failed to satisfy God's demands for good works. These special souls can immediately go to heaven because they have built up a supply of good works far beyond their own needs by living lives of sacrifice and devoting themselves to an unbroken life of reciting prayers, reciting the rosary, hail Mary, attending masses.
