Word of God

An expression used primarily by conservative Protestants to refer to the text of the Holy Bible. It assumes that God inspired the authors of the Bible to write either inerrant text (free of errors) and/or infallible text (fully trustworthy. i.e. it does not deceive the reader into falsehood.)
